About the Conference

What are the dates of the in-person conference?

The Awards Ceremony takes place Tuesday, October 22 at 6:30.  Sponsored by: Midwest Monitoring and Surveillance

The in-person conference takes place Wednesday, October 23 through Friday, October 25, 2024.

Where does the conference take place?

The conference program takes place at the Mankato Civic Center (1 Civic Center Plaza, Mankato, MN 56001).

Will breakfast be offered at the conference?

There will be no breakfast available at the conference. A coffee station will be available.

Is any part of the in-person conference livestreamed online?

No. The conference will not be livestreamed. 

What should I bring with me to the conference?

We recommend that you bring materials for taking notes and your business cards. Please bring a refillable water bottle to use at the water stations.

What should I wear to the conference?

There is no dress code for the conference. Most attendees dress in business casual or business attire. We suggest dressing comfortably and in layers.

What is Cvent?

Cvent is a mobile app and a great way to enhance your conference experience! It allows you to easily browse the sessions and create an agenda, set up reminders, complete session surveys, explore exhibitor resources, and more!

Why is MCA using a mobile app?

We value creating an enjoyable conference experience and believe that Cvent helps you plan your time, make connections, and explore resources at the conference. Having a mobile app also allows us to share important conference updates in real time, such as session cancellations or room changes, with attendees in a more effective and timely manner.

Am I required to download the app to attend the conference?

We highly recommend downloading Cvent to stay up to date on conference information and make the most of your conference experience. It’s free and works on any smartphone or tablet. We will have a very limited amount of printed programs available. Cvent will always contain the most current conference information. It is not required that you download Cvent.

How can I download Cvent and find the conference information?

You can download Cvent for free any time from your app store. Conference registrants will receive an email with instructions on accessing the conference content after registering, and attendees will be able to access the conference in Cvent in Mid-October. There will also be instructions listed throughout the conference venue on how to access our content.

Does adding a session to my agenda in Cvent secure my place in that session?

No, adding a session to your Cvent agenda does not reserve a seat for you in that session. You cannot reserve a seat in a session.
