Moral Reconation Therapy (MRT) is an evidence-based, cognitive behavioral curriculum used in corrections settings throughout the United States for over 25 years. MRT also offers targeted offense programming for anger management, domestic violence, and shoplifting, among others.

This workshop will provide information about MRT, cognitive behavioral programming in general, and how MRT curriculums can help keep clients in the community.

Workshop Objectives

  • To learn about cognitive behavioral programming and its use in corrections and community settings;
  • To learn about the MRT curriculum;
  • To learn how community-based targeted offense programming can be used as a diversion tool.

Presenter Bios:

Pamela Green is certified by Correctional Counseling, Inc. (the developer of MRT) to facilitate the MRT Curriculum, MRT for Domestic Violence, and MRT for Trauma. She is also trained in Motivational Interviewing and has over 100 hours of life coach training. Pam had a successful family law practice for over 36 years and brings her experience with the law and the legal system to her work at Phoenix Rise Coaching and Consulting.

Kelly Jaedike is certified by Correctional Counseling, Inc. (the developer of MRT) to facilitate the MRT Curriculum and MRT for Trauma. She is also trained in Motivational Interviewing. Kelly is a life-long entrepreneur who brings her leadership and human resource skills to her work at Phoenix Rise Coaching and Consulting.
