Presenter Bio: Odell Wilson III has been employed in the District of Minnesota’s U.S. Federal Probation Office for the past 21 years.  He began his career as a supervision officer and then transferred to the presentence unit before returning to the supervision unit where he remained working with moderate to high risk offenders.  He has been a trainer for the Federal Judicial Center since 2001 and has provided training for the federal courts throughout the country.  In 2008 he was promoted to Senior U.S. Probation Officer as an employment/community reentry specialist.  In October 2014, Odell was promoted to Supervising U.S. Probation Officer and currently supervises probation officers responsible for providing pretrial and post-conviction supervision for the District of Minnesota.  He also is involved in reentry services where he is responsible for providing employment and other services to offenders who are transitioning to the community.
