2021 ANNUAL TRAINING INSTITUTE
As we return to in-person training opportunities, MCA is sensitive to the need for proper safety guidelines in the wake of COVID-19. MCA is working closely with Grand View Lodge to ensure all guests are provided a healthy and successful experience at our conference.
*In-person conference attendance will require proof of vaccine.
Due to the resurgence of COVID, and the highly infectious Delta variant, MCA seen the importance of putting some necessary precautions into place to ensure that this in-person event is as safe as possible. The MCA board of directors met and approved a motion that would put a safety requirement into place for in-person attendance at the conference in October.
Therefore, MCA will require proof of vaccination for those attending the fall conference in-person. This includes attendees, exhibitors, and presenters. We understand that there are those who do not want the vaccine and who cannot get the vaccine for a variety of reasons; that is why MCA is also offering the conference in a virtual platform as well.
The on-line registration form is updated to include a section to upload a copy of the vaccine card/document for those that want to attend in-person. You may also e-mail proof of completed vaccination to MCA Administrative Manager, Debbie Beltz at email@example.com.
The documentation submitted will be viewed only by MCA's Administrative Manager. After it has been reviewed for verification, it will be deleted from the on-line registration/e-mail deleted. It will not be printed, will not be saved for future reference, nor are we keeping any kind of database with the individuals detailed information.
Attendees will have until October 8th to provide proof of vaccine if they would like to attend in-person.
